What to expect once you reach out

How Our Network Works

Who you talk to

When you reach out, you are connected with an independent concrete provider in our network. That provider runs its own business. They give their own estimate and do their own work. Declaredswim Concrete makes the introduction and then steps back.

What happens on the first conversation

Expect a few simple questions. The provider may ask about the size of the area, what you want it to look like and what you have now. They may also ask about drainage, slope and any trees nearby. Many providers will offer a site visit before giving a written estimate.

Take your time. You can say you are still comparing.

What to ask an independent provider

A short list helps when you feel nervous. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured for work in my state?
  • What thickness and base prep do you plan to use?
  • How will you handle drainage and frost?
  • Will the quote be in writing, and what does it include?
  • What is the timeline, and what could change it?
  • How do you handle cracks or settling after the job?

Write the answers down. Put them side by side later.

You are in control

You can talk to one provider or several. You can say no. You can ask for time to think. There is no obligation, and no one on this site will push you to sign.
